This notice explains what personal information is collected through this platform, why, and who it's shared with — covering two different situations depending on which form brought you here.

This website is built and hosted using SkoldMarketer, a website platform. The information you submit — your name, email, phone number, and message — is sent directly to the business whose website this is, so they can respond to your enquiry. SkoldMarketer acts as the platform this information passes through, not as the business contacting you.
If you included a referral code, that's used to credit the referring affiliate — it doesn't add any new information about you beyond your name and email, already submitted with your enquiry.
Some processing (for example, sending your enquiry, storing it securely, or — where a business uses AI-assisted drafting features — helping prepare a reply) is carried out using third-party service providers, some of which are located overseas. This is handled under Australian Privacy Principle 8 safeguards.
If you entered your email to receive a full website report, SkoldMarketer collects and uses that information directly — your name (if given) and email — to generate and send you the report.
If you separately opted in to marketing updates (a clearly optional, unticked checkbox), we may also use your email to send you information about SkoldMarketer. You can unsubscribe from these at any time — every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
This service uses third-party providers for tasks like payment processing, AI-assisted analysis, and email delivery — some located overseas, handled under the same APP 8 safeguards noted above.
Where AI-assisted features are used (drafting content, generating a website, or a voice assistant interaction), processing may occur in: Germany (self-hosted AI infrastructure), the Netherlands (website-generation AI), or the European Union generally (our AI language-model provider). Our voice assistant feature's reasoning currently runs via Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, Germany — this is a temporary arrangement while we finalise infrastructure closer to home, and will move to Australia as that becomes available. Email delivery and payment processing are handled within Australia and via providers with their own APP 8 safeguards respectively.
Each of these providers is subject to Australian Privacy Principle 8 safeguards before any personal information reaches them — where practical, our AI-assisted features are designed so that identifying personal details (your name, address, or contact information) are not included in what's sent for AI processing in the first place.
We keep enquiry and contact details for up to 24 months from your last contact with the business, after which they're deleted or de-identified. Where we're required to keep a record that consent was given (for example, for marketing emails), we retain that record for 7 years in a de-identified form, consistent with our obligations under the Australian Privacy Principles and the Spam Act 2003.
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or raise any other question or concern about how it's handled. Write to us at Mnemosyne Books Pty Ltd, 117/530 Little Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000, marking your letter for the attention of the Privacy Officer. We will respond within 30 days, as the Australian Privacy Principles require.
If you're not satisfied with how we handle a privacy question, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
